We could not be more excited to welcome Brooklyn, NY hardcore act Go Deep to the Mayfly family. Almost a year ago Go Deep released one of the best demos we’ve heard in a while. This comes as no suprise, considering Go Deep features members of past hardcore greats Undying and Outbreak. Upon listening I quickly realized they were making no effort to reinvent either band, but create something completely different. This was extremely refreshing, right away the late 90′s hc/punk/thrash hybrid bands came to mind(Panic, The Dedication). We couldn’t contact them fast enough! Mayfly Records  will be releasing a rerecorded, remixed, and remastered version of that demo, the “Counseling” 7″ will be available this April! Get Stoked! You can listen to ”Counseling”  now below!

 We are extremely excited to welcome Pittsburgh three-piece Pray for Teeth. Featuring veterans of numerous Pittsburgh area bands, PFT play a unique mix of metal, ambient, punk, and hardcore. Earlier this year, PFT released one of our favorite demos. Recently we heard their upcoming 7inch “I’m Still Finding Feathers In My Hair” (soon to be released via It’s a Trap! Records and Root of Evil Collective), and we were blown away.

Mayfly Records is excited to be releasing Pray for Teeth’s debut LP late summer/early fall 2013. Until then, check them out on their upcoming tour with fellow Mayfly artist Cerce this January. All dates can be found here. Get stoked, we are!

It’s “An Miracle” just in time for the holidays! Mayfly Records artist Cerce has teamed up with Boston Indie artist I Kill Giants for a digital split titled “An Miracle”. This split will include each band covering two  of the artist’s songs. We will release the ep on our bandcamp page this Christmas Eve. All proceeds will be donated to Cambridge, Massechusetts animal rescue/advocacy group C.A.R.E.(Community Animal Rescue & Education) to help them continue the great work they do in the Cambridge/Boston area! This release for us is the perfect way to end a truly great year!
